I usually do not add the stems. They can be bitter. I will try garlic the next time I make this! Thanks for commenting!

Nice recipe, and very well presented. I especially liked how you threw the store bought stuff in the trash. I can’t stand it when people give recipes with store bought stuff.

I cant stop eating Guacamole. My mom makes it fresh with pretty much the same ingredients and when she doesn’t make it, I buy Wholly Guacamole which is the closest thing you can get to fresh.

    1) You can use either fresh or pickled. The pickled will add a little tang. The fresh will be a bit spicier.
    2) I have no idea how the seed thing works. It just seems to help. Some say it does not work.
    3) I like lime, but lemon is good too.
    Hope this helps!
    Cheers.

hello chef! thank you so much for this recipe.
    i had three questions though:
    1) is it better to use fresh jalapeños or pickled?
    2) what is the reason the seed prevents browning?
    3) I saw some recipes use lemon juice. is lime much better for guac?

i would appreciate any feedback! :]

No, you do not eat the seed. Just throw it out after you eat with the guacamole.
